RICHARD O. OBIRE (CHAIRMAN)
A 1984 graduate of Accounting of the prestigious University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Mr. Obire has over 18 years of combined experience in auditing, consulting, hospitality and financial services gained from working for Ernst & Young, Sheraton, First City Merchant Bank and Diamond Bank. A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, member of both the Chartered Institutes of Taxation and Stock Brokers respectively, Mr. Obire also serves on the Governing Council of the Nigeria-Britain Association and of the Lagos Business School Alumni Association. Mr. Obire was before he retired, the Executive Director of Platinum Bank Limited. He is married with four children.
HON. NZE CHIDI DURU
Nze Chidi Duru holds a Bachelor of Law (LL.B) Hons. Degree from Bendel state university, Ekpoma, Edo State (1988). He is a graduate of various course programmes at Lagos Business School, Havard University USA and University of Navarra Barcelona Spain. Nze Duru’s wealth of experience and learning span a wide range of areas including privatization, regulatory reform, corporate governance, competitive strategy and value creation. He is currently a member of the National House of Representatives and a recipient of many awards including Vanguard Newspapers’ year 2001 and 2002 legislator of the year award. Nze Duru serves on the board of a number of companies including Guardian Express Bank (Now Spring Bank Plc) and Aptics Limited.
MR. UZO B. EZIUKWU (Chief Executive)
Mr. Eziukwu's immense passion for making a positive impact in the IT industry in Africa led to his converging like-minded individuals who shared in the dream of building a world-class IT Software Company driven by a quest for excellence through dedicated service and professionalism - thus the birth of Parkway Projects, Nigeria’s leading provider of e-banking and e-payment support services. A multi-talented Electronic Engineer with a Bachelor of Engineering Degree from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka and a Diploma in Computer/Statistics from the same University; he has immense exposure to the IT industry at various levels locally and internationally and has attended several professional and management programs. His keen interest in developing systems that promote the use within contemporary Africa of electronic means for transacting business has earned him the unshakeable reputation especially within Nigeria of a maestro of electronic payment systems.
